The Port of Jelsa, situated on the northern coast of Hvar Island, is a cozy spot to moor up, offering decent protection from most winds. The approach is straightforward, though during the summer months, it can get a little crowded, so securing a spot early is advisable. The facilities include water and electricity at the dock, and you’ll find basic services such as restrooms and showers nearby. While the port is small, it feels peaceful compared to other busier areas on Hvar. The town itself is charming, with a handful of shops and restaurants. For provisions, there’s a well-stocked supermarket within walking distance. The quay is stern-to, with mooring lines available. Note that anchoring is forbidden inside the port area, and holding can be tricky just outside, with a mix of sand and rocky seabeds
