Petit Havre provides a peaceful anchorage option, well-suited to calm conditions but its protection is limited to moderate seas due to exposure to easterly winds. The seabed varies between sand and patches of rock and seagrass, offering acceptable holding if you can find a spot clear of algae. Since it’s a relatively open area, the anchorage might get a bit rocky when the winds pick up. A dinghy ride brings you close to the beach, where there’s a local snack bar, though you won’t find fresh water or docking facilities here but the nearby town of Gosier has some services.
