Cala della Grotta is a rocky cut on Capraia, backed by volcanic cliffs and a small cave that gives the cove its name. The water is clear and deep close to the rocks, making it good for a swim straight off the stone. Read more
Capraia village is worth the walk for the fortress and the tight lanes above the harbour. Hiking trails run along the coast to viewpoints over Porto Vecchio and Punta della Teglia, with wide sea views and red volcanic rock underfoot.
