In this corner of the coast, the big day out is the Zingaro Nature Reserve for cliff trails and coves. Scopello’s old tonnara and the sea stacks make a good stop for photos and a coffee before heading back.
Had to scout around to find a good spot, but managed to set my anchor in about 7 meters, found some nice sandy patches between the rocks. Took my dinghy out to check the caves in the morning, totally worth it! The beach isn’t sandy, but it’s nice for a short walk.
