1 Reviews on “Cala Sabina”
An picturesque anchorage near Golfo Aranci on the northeastern coast of Sardinia. Cala Sabina features a beautiful sandy beach and offers mooring in crystalline turquoise waters at depths ranging from 3 to 8 meters. It’s advisable to anchor in the middle of the bay, as numerous rocks border the edges of the cove.
The seabed consists of sand, providing good holding, and the anchorage is relatively protected, but exposure to northern wind directions can affect its tranquility. It’s recommended to check the weather conditions before anchoring.
Onshore, Cala Sabina boasts a sandy beach with crystal-clear waters and a shallow seabed, making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. However, it is a small beach and can become very crowded, especially during the summer. Due to its popularity, especially in August, it’s best to visit Cala Sabina early in the morning to secure a good spot and enjoy the serene environment before it gets crowded.
Access to the beach is possible by dinghy, and while there are no docking facilities, the area is reachable for those anchored nearby with a snack bar providing refreshments.
