Cala Saracena is a small Salento bay with a rocky rim and a clear patch of sand that holds once set, around 8 to 10 metres. A stone arch and a small islet sit just outside, giving the place a clear landmark. Read more
A short dinghy run takes you to the rocks below the headland for a swim, then it’s worth heading ashore towards Castro for its old town and views. The Grotta Zinzulusa is nearby for a sea cave visit and a walk along the cliff path.
