Anchoring is straightforward, with a mix of sand and mud, I noted the presence of an old chain lying on the seabed, which can tangle anchors. I’ve found the tranquility here is unbeatable, especially compared to the busier nearby Portovenere. The water is refreshing, and despite some murkiness, the peaceful atmosphere more than compensates. Dinghy access is easy, with a short ride to shore for supplies or a stroll through the village. You’ll find basic amenities like a small supermarket and a few good restaurants.
