Mix of sand and mud, and an old chain lying on the seabed which can tangle your anchors. But tranquility here is unbeatable compared to the busier nearby Portovenere. The water is refreshing, and despite some murkiness the peaceful atmosphere more than compensates. Dinghy access is easy, with a short ride to shore for a walk through the village where you’ll find a small supermarket and a few good restaurants.
