Porto di Oneglia has that old-school Ligurian charm – working harbor meets sailor-friendly stopover. The breakwater offers solid protection, though occasional surge can sneak in. Mooring is mostly alongside or stern-to along the quays. Depths are good, and there’s space for visiting yachts.
Right off the dock, you’re in the heart of town, surrounded by trattorias, fish markets, and some of Liguria’s best focaccia. This isn’t a polished luxury marina, but it’s got authenticity in spades, plus easy access to provisioning and minor repairs. If you enjoy the blend of a working port with local character, Oneglia is worth the stop. Just be mindful of commercial traffic and the occasional wake – it’s part of the charm.
