Spent my morning exploring Pertuso bay. Finally found good sand for my anchor – about 7 meters deep on the north side. The island amazing rock walls plunge straight into blue water. Met a couple of spearfishermen heading out at dawn – they pointed out some rich fishing spots near the entrance. Those afternoon winds can snap pretty hard, but the north corner takes the edge off. Ferries run far enough out that their wake barely reaches in. Gets real peaceful after the day boats head home.
