Porticciolo di Mondello is small, charming, and right in the heart of this lively Sicilian beach town, but don’t expect a proper marina setup. The local fishing boats dominate the limited space, and unless you’ve got a friend with a spot, finding a berth can be tough, especially in summer when Mondello is buzzing.
That said, if you manage to anchor just outside, the water is stunning, with a sandy bottom for good holding. A quick tender ride gets you to shore, where the real magic happens. Mondello is all about fresh seafood, cafĂ©s, and that classic Sicilian beach vibe. If you’re up for a short walk, the Art Nouveau villas isn’t far away.
