Porto dell’Etna in Riposto is a solid stop along Sicily’s eastern coast. What really sets this place apart is its location, nestled at the foot of Mount Etna, it’s just a short sail to Taormina. The old town of Riposto is right outside the marina, and the local fish market is a great spot for fresh seafood. If you have time, a day trip to Etna or the Alcantara Gorges is worth it. The marina is accessible year-round and not far from Catania airport, making it a convenient stopover. Safe, functional, and with a bit of Sicilian character—definitely worth a visit.
