1 Reviews on “Porto Ercole”
Tucked into Monte Argentario, Porto Ercole feels like a well-kept secret. The marina offers good protection, even when the Tyrrhenian gets feisty, and it’s well-equipped. Space can be tight, so calling ahead is wise, especially in summer. Once tied up, the town is a sailor’s dream – walkable, and packed with history. Plenty of seafood spots line the waterfront, and a short hike up to the fortress rewards you with incredible views. It’s not the cheapest stop, but the mix of safety, charm, and accessibility makes it worth it.
