Anchoring at Porto di Gaeta is quite straightforward. The holding is good, with a sandy bottom that provides decent grip. The area is relatively protected, so you can rest easy even if the wind picks up. It’s a short dinghy ride to the shore, where you’ll find a charming town with plenty of options for dining and provisioning.
