Docking at the Yacht Club Leuca in Puglia was relatively easy. The entrance is safe, though it can be tricky if winds are strong. The facilities are basic but well-kept, with power and water available on the pontoons. The location is right at the southern tip of Italy, so it’s a nice spot for a stopover on longer journeys. You’re within walking distance of the town, where you’ll find restaurants and a supermarket, which makes provisioning simple. Fuel is available, though the station can be closed at odd hours, so plan accordingly. The marina can get quite busy during peak seasons, and the shelter isn’t perfect when southerly winds pick up, making the night a bit choppy. The showers and toilets are serviceable but could benefit from an upgrade.
