The anchorage here is quite secure, with good holding. But be cautious of the shallower areas and the surrounding reefs. Depths vary between 10 and 14 meters. The bay is well-sheltered. The entrance is fairly straightforward, but it’s advisable to enter during daylight to clearly see underwater. There’s a lovely small beach accessible for landing your dinghy and a hiking trail around the Pointe de la Caravelle, with spectacular views of the coastline. It’s sometimes restricted to anchor due to local regulations, so it’s better to double-check the current rules.
