Badia de Pollença offers a mix of mud, sand and weed, and the anchor tends to hold well once it is set, even close to the built-up shore. There’s a dinghy dock available for going ashore without dragging onto a beach. Read more
The backdrop is the Tramuntana range and the Formentor peninsula, which makes the bay feel distinct. Ashore, Port de Pollença has a long promenade and restaurant options, and a trip to Cap de Formentor brings the lighthouse and the Mirador viewpoints.

If you can, try to anchor away from the mooring fields to avoid getting too close to other boats. The seabed is sandy and provides good holding. There’s a dinghy dock at the marina, and you’ll find a range of shops and restaurants nearby, including places to stock up. In terms of protection, the bay can handle strong westerly winds well, and it’s a reliable spot during strong mistral too.
