1 Reviews on “Badia de Santa Pola”
A spacious anchorage that offers good protection, particularly from westerly winds, though it can get choppy if the wind shifts easterly. The holding is generally reliable on a sandy bottom, which makes anchoring fairly straightforward, though there are some patches of seagrass, so it’s best to find a clear spot to drop the hook. The bay is large enough to accommodate plenty of boats without feeling crowded, even during the busy season. The town of Santa Pola is nearby, so getting ashore for supplies, fuel, or a meal is easy with a short dinghy ride. The marina in town offers all the basic services if needed, and the waterfront has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for an evening stroll. It’s a good stopover for a night or two
