1 Review on “Cala de Giverola”
Cala de Giverola on the Costa Brava is a picturesque anchorage known for its stunning clear waters, surrounded by steep, forested cliffs that create a sense of seclusion. This anchorage offers a sandy bottom with good holding, although space can be limited, especially in the peak summer season. Due to its popularity, arriving early can help secure a spot. The cove is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with underwater rock formations and abundant marine life. Ashore, Cala de Giverola has a sandy beach with a beach bar and a small restaurant. Nearby hiking trails offer scenic routes along the coast, giving a fantastic view of the Mediterranean and surrounding coves. The anchorage’s sheltered position makes it a peaceful spot, though it’s best avoided during strong winds from the east, which can make the bay choppy.
