Run the dinghy onto the beach and you’re next to a strip of bars and a restaurant for a quick stop. The coast here has several small coves within a short dinghy hop, and the cliffs nearby hide sea caves worth a look.

1 Review on “Cala de s’Estany d’en Mas”
Cala de s’Estany d’en Mas, also known as Cala Romántica, is a lovely anchorage on Mallorca’s eastern coast. The bay offers a good anchoring depth of around 4 to 6 meters, with a sandy bottom providing reliable holding. Sheltered from winds except for easterlies, the cove is generally calm but can become uncomfortable if strong easterly winds are forecasted. This spot is particularly popular for its clear, turquoise waters, which are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is spacious and well-maintained, attracting both sailors and beachgoers. A few casual beach bars are available nearby, as well as basic facilities such as restrooms and showers. In high season, it can get busy, so it’s worth anchoring early to secure a good position. Nearby Porto Cristo has more extensive services, including larger shops and marine facilities, if you need additional supplies.
