1 Review on “Cala Pola”
Located on Catalonia’s scenic Costa Brava near Tossa de Mar, is a beautiful, tucked-away anchorage. It’s a small cove with strikingly clear water, framed by pine-covered cliffs, which offers a peaceful anchorage spot. The seabed here is mostly sand with some rock patches, providing good holding for anchoring, although it’s wise to arrive early as space is limited, especially during the summer season. The sheltered nature of the cove makes it a comfortable anchorage in calm weather, though it can be exposed to swells from the southeast. The beach at Cala Pola is a short swim or dinghy ride away and has a couple of amenities, including a beach bar. There are also some hiking trails that lead to viewpoints.
