Hello, I want to leave my 36-foot boat in Martinique from July to October, either on land or at a dock. Do you have any addresses? I am aware that other islands are less expensive, but I have little time ahead of me and I need to store it locally for the season. Thank you for your suggestions. Regards.

Hello, In Le Marin, there’s no solution. First, you’re starting quite late. Reservations for hurricane season are made in February.

Point 1: At the dock, everything is completely full
Point 2: Bad luck, the careening yard is under complete renovation to accommodate mega yachts, no space on land for anyone, it’s closed
Point 3: The few mooring buoys managed by the harbor master’s office or by craftsmen are all rented

I’m afraid it’s the same in St. Lucia or Guadeloupe. You have two options left: the new Etang Zabricots marina which just opened and is perfect for leaving a boat, or go further, to Grenada.

      Hello,
It’s true that it’s a bit late…. you can try your luck at the harbor master’s office but there’s little chance….
As a last resort, the Carriacou careening yard, not as far as Grenada, however getting back to Martinique: Nightmare… Good luck
