2 Reviews on “Inner harbour”
Well-protected anchorage, offering good holding in a sandy bottom, though space can be tight due to the shallow waters and local moorings. The harbor itself provides decent shelter from most winds.
The town is a charming blend of traditional Cycladic beauty, with its narrow streets and bougainvillea. There are plenty of great tavernas, cafes, and upmarket shops to explore, though prices can be a bit high, especially compared to other islands.
Between the shallow water, the dock, the local moorings and the port entrance it doesn’t let you much room to swing, but one boat can definitely find shelter at anchor in the inner harbour in case of strong southerly.
