Don’t let those sparkly rocks near the edges tempt you – middle bay’s your best bet. Water’s clean enough to count the links in my anchor chain! Gets busy around lunch when locals motor in, but hey, plenty of room if you time it right. Met this cool Spanish crew at sunrise. Their tip saved me grief – those west winds can sneak up fast after lunch. They weren’t kidding – saw three boats shift position by 2 PM. Phone signal’s decent for weather updates. Big ships pass offshore, so expect some roll now and then.
