1 Reviews on “Cala Magrana”
Cala Magrana offers a peaceful anchorage in the Balearic Islands with clear blue waters ideal for a short stay. It has sandy seabeds with some patches of seagrass, making for secure holding but requiring careful anchoring to avoid disturbing the marine flora. While the cove is mostly calm, it’s more exposed to easterly winds, so be prepared to move if they pick up unexpectedly. With limited space available, especially in peak season, it can fill up quickly, but it’s quieter compared to the busier coves nearby. There’s easy access to shore by dinghy, and you’ll find rocky surroundings that provide a good spot for a snorkel. The area is relatively close to a few nearby towns for supplies and amenities if needed. A short drive inland reveals several local dining options and small grocery stores in Porto Cristo.
